Introduction to Water Polo - A088

In partnership with the DC Panthers, the Introduction to Water Polo program will teach beginners the rules and fundamentals of water polo, as well as increase water confidence that will serve children well beyond the game.

New registrants will require a pre-season assessment of swimming ability by DC Panthers staff – water polo does require at least basic swimming ability! After the assessment, coaches will direct families to attend the appropriate pool practice. Please contact the DC Panthers for details (email below).

Age range is 9 to 16. Open to girls & boys.

Weekly practice schedule:

Levels 1 & 2 (new & developing players) will practice at Deanwood on Weds: 5:45 to 7:15pm

Level 3 (advanced players) will practice at Takoma on Sundays, 1:30 to 3:00pm, and on Tuesdays, 6:15 to 7:15pm
